Photography Jobs

Tue Aug 8, 2006, 10:19 PM
I haven't updated here in quite some time as you can well see but I thought this would be good to add to this little corner of the net. Last month while spending time with my cousins up in Wisconsin I recieved a bit of a surprise. My older cousin is going to be getting married next month and of course I'm looking forward to the whole weekend. When his brother, who is my age, got married seven years ago I was asked to take pictures of people as they entered into the reception hall. I recieved a nice gift from my best friend and got to take a lot of wonderful photos. Since then my photography has gotten a lot better. This brings me back to Wisconsin and my older cousin and that surprise.

The night after my cousin got into Wisconsin for his job at the airshow in Oshkosh his older brother pulled me aside after dinner and asked me to be the photographer for his rehersal dinner. There was talk floating around between my aunt and my mother that this might happen but I was very surprised and honored when he asked me. You see I've been toying with the idea of trying to find a way to turn my photography into something that can make me money. Getting a job like this, even if it is for family, is a step in the right direction. As if that's not enough, one of my aunts then asked me to be the official photographer for the bridal shower on the 20th of this month. This will be the third such job that I've been given this year. I did two anniversary parties for my mother's siblings. I need all the photography jobs I can get.

So hurray for me. :boogie:
